Building Awards is a panel-judged program that evaluates submissions based on a set of scoring criteria in 11 building categories. Successful projects receive a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award.
Members Choice Competition sponsored by Steelway Building Systems, determines the top three projects across all categories through a ranked ballot system. Each of the top three projects will receive a Members Choice award. The top-ranking Members Choice project will receive the Glen White Project of the Year Award. Voting takes place at our Annual Conference.
Our awards programs recognize and celebrate outstanding construction projects by Canadian Farm Builders Association members. The awards are an opportunity to showcase the diverse and impressive work of our members.
The CFBA is excited to recognize the hard work and innovation of its members at our Annual Conference on March 25, 2026 at Arden Park Best Western Hotel, Stratford, Ontario.

New Category: Multi-Purpose Agricultural- A structure located in a rural setting, typically designed in the style of a barn. Its primary function is to serve as a workshop, garage, storage, animal facility, or for other agricultural purposes, with a secondary residential use. These types of buildings are sometimes also known as a “Barndominium” or "Shouse."
Monetary Prizes:
$500 for each judged category winner
$1,000 for Glen White Project of the Year
