WSIB Excellence program offers new, limited - time financial supports for small businesses
The WSIB is offering limited-time financial support to help smaller businesses (i.e. those with 1-99 full-time employees) recover from the pandemic and improve their workplace health and safety. The WSIB will:
• Double the rebates for businesses with 1- 99 employees can earn through the Health and Safety Excellence program.
• Pay $1,000 to help offset program provider fees and services if they enroll in 2022
• Remove the cap on rebates (which is usually 75 percent of their premiums)
